RIV ROBUST was born in Japan’s last true frontier, once called Ainu Mosir—the quiet land where people live.
Here, meter-class trout run the rivers, and a complete food chain endures in the mountains and deep forests, with the brown bear at its apex.Mountain, river, and sea form one continuous ecosystem.
Nature isn’t a destination for us—it’s always within reach. We live as part of its cycle, fly fishing, climbing through every season, and moving across the backcountry.

ようこそ、極北の地へ。

RIV ROBUST（リブ・ロブスト）は、日本のアウトドアのメッカであり、この国のラストフロンティアとも言える大地で産声を上げた。かつて先住民たちが「アイヌモシリ（人間の住む静かなる大地）」と呼んだ、この広大な地で。

ここでは、メーターに迫るトラウトが悠然と川を泳ぎ、人を寄せ付けぬ山々と深い森には、ヒグマを頂点とした完全な食物連鎖が今なお息づいている。

そして山、川、海。そのすべてが、一つの巨大な生態系として地続きに存在する。また信じがたく驚くべきことに、それらが一つの大陸の上で、完結しているのだ。

私たちは、この手に余るほどの大自然の中でフライフィッシングをし、夏も冬も登山をし、バックカントリーをし、時には自然の恵みをエネルギーとして頂き暮らしている。

「山や川へ出かける」のではない。すぐ手の届く場所にそれらがあり、その循環の一部として私たちは生きている。
